Dr. Diane's beloved Hunter/Jumper Moose was a Thoroughbred Horse she adopted during her undergraduate studies at Judson College. He lived with her until he died at age 38, and was her "once in a lifetime" horse.
Those who know Diane, know that she has never found a more challenging, nor more rewarding partner in crime. Moose was a horse with HEART.
A big bay boy, aptly named "Moose", he would challenge ANY able bodied rider and test their mettle. But if you took a child out of a wheelchair and placed them on his back, he walked around on eggshells, protecting his precious cargo.
He is cherished and missed by all who knew him and held him dear.
Moose, you are FOREVER in our hearts.
