Chinese Acupuncture and Needle Free Acupuncture
Chinese Acupuncture and Needle Free Acupuncture-Dr. Diane practiced in a Board Certified Acupunture practice for six years in Fort Myers, Florida. This experience inspired her to further pursue the study of Chinese Medicine and acupunture. The study of both IVAS and Chi Institute techniques have long been a passion of Dr. Richter when she goes to continuing education.
Using Chinese Holistic examination techniques, along with the rest of her integrative diagnostic methods, Dr. Diane is then able to develop an acupuncture protocol unique to each patient.
Some patients are not good candidates for the use of needles to stimulate the acupuncture meridians.
It is in these instances that using the cold laser as a needle free alternative to traditional Chinese needle acupuncture has been a wonderful addition to Dr. Richter's "bag of tricks". This technique has been very effective in treating hip dysplasia, backs and knees.
It has been particularly effective in neurologic intervertebral disc disease in Dachshunds and the treatment of renal failure in cats.
We are very thankful to have these unique holistic, integrative techniques to help improve the quality of life of our patients.
